The Voice is Silenced

There are certain sounds I attach to certain experiences. The sound of leaves rustling, the sound of thunder, the sound of metal scrapping stone…these bring to mind very specific moments in my life for me. A sound that brings up memories of some of the finest movie-going moments of my life is the voice of Don Lafontaine.

He will be sorely missed.

Somewhere, in a sea of mediocrity, one man gave voice to drama, to passion….to heroism. Next Summer, who shall take up his mantle?
